St Tudy & St Mabyn Schools

There is much discussion over the future of the village primary schools in St Tudy and St Mabyn. There are two separate issues: the federation of the two schools under one executive head teacher, and the future of the school facilities in the two villages. They are not linked. There is a feasibility study taking place to look into the possibility of building a new school in the area which would result in the closure of both village schools. This has led to concern and debate amongst parents and villagers over the impact this may have on both communities.

It is the intention of this website to try and present all available information in an impartial manner as there could be significant implications for all residents.
