Hello everyone,
St Tudy are currently holding elections for the one remaining Parent Governor
place on the new Board of Governors, due to take office from the start of
January 2010.
Please support Chris Mugford in his goal of keeping St Tudy CofE VA School a
central part of the community whilst upholding the high standards of pupil
achievement already attained.
Chris has been central to our whole campaign and has worked hard to ensure the
referendum was a great success along side the rest of our committee and both
communities.
He has a valuable set of skills that would clearly be of benefit to the newly
federated Board of Governors. Passion, commitment and drive are all assets
that would be brought to the new Body.
Whilst the immediate threat of closure is over the fight will still go on to
keep both village schools.
It's an important time for any members of the new federation to stand up and say
what they think over the coming years, questioning any information given to them
regarding the future of both schools.
Our Action Group committee fully support Chris and if you have a vote as a
parent, please also support him.
All the best,
Matthew Slater
Chair, St Tudy and St Mabyn Community Action Group
PS - As you maybe aware, I have been elected, unopposed, onto the federation as
St Mabyn’s Parent Governor.
